The devils are young and will regroup after the loss. The big picture is there and that's a 3 peat. They will take the loss and learn from it. Glad to see the passing game is back somewhat. Devils will make noise in the playoffs. Gotta say we killed ourselves with giving the hill some easy tds

GHS is lucky they didn't get beat 56 to 7. SH must have had over 150 yards in penalties. If they had any discipline, the score would have been worse. SH has a bunch of talent, just too many stupid mistakes.

Holy cow . . . I think I saw Michael Oher wearing #75 for Science Hill! All kidding aside . . . It was a good win for the Hill, but they sure had a lot of penalties. QB Hayes was pretty sharp with his throws – good runner too. The QB for Greeneville will be sore tomorrow. He took a lot of hard licks. Overall - decent first game.

Good win for the hill. I think the quality of will be determined in part by how well greeneville does in the coming weeks.

 

Most telling stat of the night was that Greeneville had more yards passing than they did rushing. I don't think that's how greeneville wants to play. A little more than a 100 yards rushing for greeneville compared to the 350ish they had last year. Stellar job by the science hill defense.

 

For Science Hill, penalties, penalties, penalties... good grief. That needs to be fixed. A couple of missed extra points, but that can be fixed. Seemed to be a problem last year, but it was fixed during the next week.

 

Was impressed with Reed Hayes. He showed a lot of poise and made some good throws. Only one bad one I can remember when he threw the ball back over the middle after being forced out of the pocket.

 

We'll see if this win can launch science hill to a good season. Need to clean up the mental errors.

let's not kid ourselves Devilman03...we got taken to the woodshed tonight.....our boys did show some heart and fight comming out in the third and if not for some bonehead mistakes on our part, who knows, but bro, our D gave up 590 yards.......say that again to yourself.....NEARLY 600 yards of offense in a HS game....our defense needs work and im sure the coaches will get after them.....we will be just fine cause like ive said to anyone who will listen this year, its not how you start it's how you finish....im STILL and ALWAYS proud of our boys and what they've accomplished and lord knows alot of us have written some pretty big greene devils checks with our mouths if you get my drift....haha....time to pay up now for a while...i still think we will be fine and go deep into the playoffs...A loss like this is probably good for the team in some ways....HEAD UP GREENE DEVILS, next week YOU get to exact some revenge on those trojans.....Great Game toppers, you guys appear to be loaded on O..go get them Indians this year, best of luck to you guys.
