I know, right? They even put a team in the top 10 ahead of you that isn't from Middle Tennessee!

 

I wouldn't get too bent out of shape about it though. The Jackson Sun never ranked Henry County last year even when we were undefeated and won the State Championship. Then again, sometimes a fan is so overly biased that they just think they should be ranked. I'm that way.

Still no love for the Bucs by the Tennessean. Still unranked, this week behind CPA and an 0-1 Northeast team. This should be a walk over for Henry Co.

 

I am confident that will soon change. To add to insult, Hurd had the highest rushing stats in the state on Friday, and he wasn't even mentioned in the top player of the week poll.

The Jackson Sun quit ranking Henry Co. when they down sized their coverage area and we are no longer in it.

This is a huge game. Beech fans should enjoy the Henry County atmosphere. This game could go either way in my opinion. I know I have seen Beech and Hurd is the real deal. Having said that the rest of Beech doesn't look that bad either. Opening night in Paris will be a tough one however for the Bucs.

This is true. 2009 was the last season we were included in the Jackson Sun, and we were ranked #1 almost all year. Only reason I remember is because I was living in Jackson at that time.

Rights right and wrongs wrong, Jalen ran all over us this past Friday night, no way the kid shouldnt win this poll: and yes I voted for him :http://gallatinnews....yer-of-the-week......yall do the kid justice.

 

I wasn't referring to that poll, but I think that's ones pretty funny. It was a mid-state poll on Murphy Fair. Since that one you tagged is strictly Sumner Co., looks like a bunch of kids (or the same kid) voted over and over. None of that really matters though. The only thing that does is those "W's" Beech will rack up on Friday nights.

The team that is in the best shape wins in the third and forth quarters and thats what happened last friday at Liberty and will happen this friday night. If the game is close I will be there for this one. Does Beech run the veer If they do the linebacker play is very important not to get sealed of in the middle with there blocking

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
