Thanks to Coach Jeff Roberts for running a good warm up tournament before the season goes full swing. All my guys got four quality matches. Which helped knock some of that rust off.

Yes Tate is attending school at Baylor. Flo has him ranked at Park Hill because that is where he trained over the summer and represented Team MO at Fargo. They have been informed of his current location and will update it eventually I am sure.

I don't know all the results but the tournament had a few studs in there. Beech High School is looking in really tough this year and will be really exciting to watch. Wilson Central as a team as well. One match that really stuck out to me from this tournament was Brayan Garcia (Hillsboro) vs. Jacob Freeman (Ravenwood). Garcia was putting it to him for most of the match. Freeman was down 4-0 before he ended up in getting a pin in the last 20 seconds. Freeman is going to have a wrestle a lot better at the Super 32 than he did at this tournament. Some other wrestlers who were looking good were: Avery Martin (MLK) and Austin Richards (Wilson Central).

Cleveland-

Austin Stevison- He went 4-2 is a very tough weight with 177 kids in his bracket.

 

Ethan West- Ethan started off the tournament with the eventual runner-up and most recent Missouri signee losing 2-0. He ended up 3-2 with wins over PA, NC, and VA.
