Top Ten DI Teams?

From my experience around the Baylor wrestling program, I can say that Red Bank High School may sneak into the top 10. Keep in mind that it only takes a handful of good performances at state for a team become top 10. As far as duals go I don't think they'll be anywhere close to top 10, but in tournament situations I'd say definitely; at least by the end of the year.

Yeah it'll still be a tight race in Williamson County. Ravenwood still has to be the favorite with Freeman returning but word is he's jumped two weights. Franklin will be tough too with both the Bennetts and a good Sophomore 195 pounder. Brentwood will be a good all around with Hamilton returning. Now for my Indy (yep there's another Little at Indy), even after losing a two timer (Newberg) a placer (lil WG) and a dern good hwt (Rockholt) they returned 6 or 7 qualifiers and will still be a top 10 team...

45 or 52 from region 6 could be THE most loaded weight in the state with Hamilton (Brentwood) Freeman (Ravenwood) Bennett (Franklin) Wilson (Indy) and Love (MLK) in the same weight. Every one of them are capable of placing very high in the state this year and a couple of them have to be in the running to take it all.

106- Pelky

120- Allen

126- Overton (think he missed state last year but has qualified before last year)

145- Wilson

160- Scara

195- Venuti missed qualifying last year but was ranked in the top 5 all year was up 13 when got caught and pinned by the Antioch 95 who made the semis.

So that's 5 returning qualifiers with 1 who didn't but was capable of placing.

    • Great to meet you too.  We're going to work hard to get back.
    • I extend my gratitude to ManCoverage for initiating this discussion thread tailored to the residents of Trousdale County. In times of adversity within our football team, it is imperative to have an outlet for expression, and what better platform than CoachT's Craigslist forum? I respectfully request that GOAT exercise discretion in his commentary, as his remarks have caused me personal distress.
    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
    • Hope you enjoy it King and good to meet you at state this year. Good luck to the Lady Landers. Keep battling.
