jcub50
Wasn't there, but Polk's stat guy called the RedZone and said he had 44 carries for 411 yards and 6 TD's. Oh, also had an INT on defense playing MLB. That gives him over 1400 yards rushing for the year.
Polk04
Miller stats was 412 yards on 44 carries with 6tds. He just put that head down and ran over through and around the Chiefs tonight. Great game for the young man tonight also Coach Davis getting that 100th win all with Polk and the Wildcats winning 4 straight District Championships. Now got to get back to work got a tough game this week with Pirates coming to Benton.

15eagle
This was actually a good game going into the fourth quarter, Chiefs had the ball on the seven and threw a int in the endzone that polk ran back out to mid field. If the Chiefs would have scored there it would have been a 6 point game at 33-28 but polk went on to score and that was it. Difference in the game #35 for Polk, he had his way tonight. Sequoyah has to learn how to stop a run game been a problem all season. Thought the Chiefs played hard though and it was a good game. Sequoyah depends to much on the passing game, need to run it more. Polk out hit the Chiefs and they were the better team.
Polk04
Much respect to the Chiefs have improved a lot since last year. And I agree it was a great game. Good luck to you guys the rest of the season.
Charlie Murphy
Give it up to #30 Silas from Polk last night. And #35 Miller, 411 yards rushing and 6 TDs. Sequoyah knew it was coming but couldn't do anything with it! He even ran over the referee on his way to one of his TDs Edited October 13, 2012 by Charlie Murphy

pchs02
You are all right, he is a real fine young man and gives it all every play. Not to mention, he always gives credit to the players around him as he could not do what he does on the field without them. Less than 15 hours after this incredible night he had, he was where he always is on a saturday this time of year, on the sideline helping with the young kids of the youth football program. Not mentioning himself what transpired the night before, but humbly accepting congratulations from everyone who offered with a thank you. No celebrating, with the exception of a few pats on the helmet from teammates, just a tap on the heart and a point to God, then runs off to the sideline for a rare breather. Kids like this are getting more rare, but every team has some I am sure. This is why I think high school football is the most exciting sport there is. So thank you Mr. Miller and others like you all over that play this game the way it should be. As far as the 6 tds, the 411 yards, and the 44 carries.....we need to mention 0 fumbles. Kudos to a real good Sequoyah group, played very hard and good luck against the Redskins. D 5AA has been very competitive this year and has been a joy to watch.
