There are many Class A teams that would beat Lebanon and Gallatin this year

Unless the TSSAA attempts to reinvent the current districts, I think Goodpasture will just replace White House Heritage in District 10. Nashville Christian is already in that district, and it would make sense from a competitive and numbers standpoint. I also think they'll be in the western half of the bracket most years for the playoffs - they definitely would have been in the west this year and last year. So, I don't really think it will effect Trousdale all that much...

Well if it makes sense from a competitive & numbers stand point one thing is for sure. . . The TSSAA will have no part of it. Dumbest playoff plan in history, and they decided to keep it 4 more years.

I don't know how to say this nicely but you are way off on this one. You want a great example. CAK last year, a team that your team barely beat. Got beat by LaVergne, a 3-7 team in 6A. CAK and Grace were the best two teams in their divisions last year and could barely beat a bottom of the barrel 6a team. There is a major difference in 6a football, just ask CAK as they have had to go toe to toe with one the last two years.

 

No feelings hurt here. Your point is well taken. I wasn't speaking about GCA, in particular. I was speaking of the bottom of the bottom rung of 6A. A few 2A teams can compete with those teams. GCA has beaten 5A Anderson Co. the last 2 years. They are not 6A, and they are not as good as they were last year, but a W is a W. I think BB, FC and Oneida could beat a few 6A teams.

What scandal did Goodpasture face this season?

 

It's a cheech and chong thang....btw...this new "can't jump 2 class rule" benefits a total of 7 schools...and hurts over 200...now how is that good for t$$aa? unless those 7 are "padding some pockets" i can't see it no other way.

"Can't move more than one class" began before the six-class playoff system, different than the regular season classes if I'm not mistaken. They should have adjusted it when that system was started. By its wording it actually should have been happening the past four season including this one.

Call me crazy but I think Goodpasture could very easily compete for the 2a title this season,One of the other private schools might beat um,but I doubt any of um would want to see them in their bracket. Goodpasture might pretty much have a monopoly in 2a. I've got nothing againt um,we just don't need um. Shoot we don't need any of them. Hopefully the voting will be done properly on Monday and every school will have a voice in it. Its time for change. We can't take 4 more years.

I agree...Goodpasture will be an instant contender in 2a. They have dealt with a lot of adversity this season. They will be a tough out if they make the playoffs.

GP footall would get beat by a bunch of 2A schools this year...Macon County played with'em for 3 quarters.

 

But Baseball, Sofball, Volleyball, etc....single A is screwed!

...and welcome to District 10A! Goodpasture stunk this year but they've won District 9AA the last three years and have 9 state championship appearance. I'm confident they'll walk the dog in 10A the next 4 years.
