Here rumor is true and 3-4 players also transfering to Gordonsville. I hope its not true for SC sake.

Lebanon is trying hard to land Coach and a few assistants, and they may be going. I don't know if it's a done deal yet, but the TALK is strong.

However, keep in mind, it's been that way for 3/4 years now. LA / MC / White Co. / Cookville / Knox. Cath....and on and on. Although, I'm a little suprised by 1-2 assistants, but it is what it is. If they feel the situation is where they can better themselves and their famlies, can't blame them.

As far as the kids go, they will go where their parents allow them to go. I understand disappointment, I get it, An important figure(s) in a kid's lifes may be gone. Change happens, it's part of life. Football teaches kids commitment, loyalty, hardwork, discipline and how to face advirsity, It builds lifelong lessons and friendships. In other words....some may transfer to avoid teaching exactly what football teaches.

I wonder how many would mention transfering if the next Coach at SC was Rankin or Creasy or another popular, proven coach?

What would the ones talking about going to G-ville do if Moose were to be SCs next coach? I'm just saying.........NOBODY knows what tomorrow holds. Things change. Stop and think a minute. What are we the teaching kids??

I played for SC through a coaching change.Nobody ever considered leaving. Win or lose, think or thin, we were OWLS, not ","Rankinites","Andersonites, Others were not "Dyerites" or "Maynordites" ...we were SC.

Anyway, I truly hope to see these coaches on Scs sidelines next season. If not, good luck to them and thanks for what they have done for kids around here in past years.

Could be the SC coaches went to Lebanon. Talked a little and tried on some blue shirts. May not have looked and felt just right. I don't know,,,,,,,,, but could be..............

We all know its true...it's just a matter of time before the announcement. I could be wrong, but I don't believe I am. I have been wrong before, many times before, but I have been correct quite a bit also. Only time will tell

Welcome to the continuing saga of "As the World Turns around Coach Jimmy Maynord" brought to you by 20 mule Team Borax, the best wash detergent you can buy. As we left the last episode, organ music, we heard that Coach Maynord was possibly leaving SCHS to go to Lebanon, organ music a little louder and faster, and now the plot thickens, louder organ music and fast, new details have surfaced, silence-now organ music low going higher. We will be right back after telling you to be sure and use Sprinkle Delight for the cleanest dishes...........

As we said, the plot thickens, now we have, organ music rapid, a listing of the staff being assembled for Lebanon High School, music loud and rapid, Coach Maynord HC, Mark Medley

OC, still ticked off after being diced this past spring in the DOC job, Moose Marshall DC, would cut drive time in half since he lives in Rutherford Co., won the gold ball, health problems would make it easier and both he and Coach Medley have both coached at Lebanon, and Jamie Angel from Wilson Central, bringing his son of course, along with one maybe two, don't know names from SCHS and the remainder staff to be picked from existing staff at Lebanon. Organ music slows and goes directly to a commercial. Now you can: (1) throw this in the Cumberland River, as I have, (2) still not know what is going on or (3) kind of believe and can't wait until the next episode of "As the World Turns around Coach Maynord" to find the latest hype.
