Been traveling. Any word on the status of coach rang? He is active on twitter so one would assume that he is ok? Someone told me the other day that the new coach at halls was the guy who resigned at William Blount. Any truth to that?

Nothing new on Coach Rang to this point. Word I have is that there was to be a meeting/hearing this month to come to a resolution. Not sure what the date on that is.

 

Haven't heard anything on Halls to this point, either.

The old coach (David Gregory) from William Blount is headed back to Mississippi to be an assistant

sorry. must have got some wrong info. i guess the halls job goes to the catlett guy. where is he coaching now? i remember him at clinton. if rang cant come back what are there options? coaches on the staff or matt lowe or outside search again?

Kevin Catlett has been coaching at Webb as an assistant since he left Clinton. He was also teaching at Powell High up until about a year ago. Seems like I heard that he was hired as a teacher at Webb, so he may be teaching there as well as coaching now. Not 100% sure on that, however.

 

Really don't know in what direction Powell would go if they had to find a new coach. That said, I don't know that it will come to that.

I hope they are able to keep rang also. did a good job this year following a coach that took them to the champ game. i cant see the catlett guy leaving webb for halls but who knows.

I heard a big rumor that the new coach for the Devils is from out of state. Anybody have any word about that?

hey rooster, have you heard anything about KJ going to Catholic? Down in the Old City for New Years and heard that.

Was fortunate enough to go to the bballl game last night. Got to sit behind the legendary Hump. He said that Rang was going to be back soon. Somebody said that Halls had offered the job to several people but couldnt get anyone to take it. Nobody mentioned anything else about halls.

If KJ is coming to Catholic it will be as an assistant. I haven't heard that and the new HC is finishing out his year at Siegel. Not sure of his total staff yet.
