Tandem? Was the scrimmage lopsided? Did Beech totally dominate? Did Oakland Move ball? How did it go?

How is Oakland this yr. They came on our turf and beat us 30-0 in semi-final playoff game when we steamrolled the district and region....We had Tenn.Jacques Smith and they had a herd of cattle the parted the red sea for some guy named Precious.....Thats as close as we got to the Gold Ball......

They are supposed to be pretty good this year with 17 starters back from last years team. Many say they are the team to beat in district 7. They have about 5-6 players that are signing D1 scholarships or being looked at by D-1 schools from what I have read.

Wouldn't say Beech dominated, but they appeared to clearly be the better team. Beech's all new lines (O and D) looked pretty good. They also had success throwing the ball. Many new faces, one very familiar one. Edited by tandem

Some systems are competitive every year no matter who comes or goes...Great leadership

I see where UT has eyes for a couple of Oakland players with an OL commit and an early offer for a sophomore ......wow...its about 7 D1 prospects total.....and Beech dominated the scrimmage??? that says alot....but its early though.... Edited by PassiveAggressive

Pretty tough. Dropped Cookeville and White House and added at Siegel and at Independence. Plus the usuals, Mt Juliet, Henry Co, Wilson Central, Hendersonville, Gallatin.

Man Siegel wouldve been a heckuva game last year. Will be good this year hopefully.
