I heard this morning that Jalen Hurd has signed to play for the UT Vols. Apparently he will graduate early and enroll for the spring semester next year. Congrats to him and the Vol Nation.

He verbally committed. Nobody can sign a letter of intent yet.

And word is that he will be an early enrollee next January.

IN MY EXPERIENCE OF SENIORS COMMITTING EARLY........THEIR FOCUS IS NOT TO GET HURT SO THEY WILL BE READY TO ENROLL IN THE SPRING....WITH THAT SAID....THE DISTRICT IS WIDE OPEN.....IS IT RIGHT.....ITS BUSINESS....HAVE A GREAT SEASON...... :|

Hurd graduates next fall after football season ends and is an early enrollee at UT. No one's intentions are to ever get hurt, but he also has every intention on doing his part to get another gold ball too. Taking this coming season lightly does not help Hurd's future. He'll do whatever he needs to do for his football team this year. He'll worry about UT in 2014.

Congrats to Hurd for being apart of the UT uprise....the bullseye will be on him and injury will be a concern......according to your thread other teams are game planning for him......one of our players who is now a Vol had a "play it safe" season his senior yr.and thats because opponents were going for his knees and he did get slightly injured.......im just sayn from experience thats what the fans will say because they want to win another championship....but im thrilled he is going to be a VOL!!!!
