I'm obviously going with the Chargerettes in this match up. They have home court advantage, and any team that has traveled to the roundhouse knows that its a tough place to play. Fans on all sides of

I didn't see the clock when the shot went off but I do know that the Cannon Co fans where the worst I have ever seen...and I am not talking about the student fans! I am talking grown adults!! My 11 year old was being cussed by a grown woman...over a GAME!!! Grown men were out in the middle of the court after the game telling our fans to come on like they wanted to fight them...over a GAME!!!! I feel terrible for Cannon Co kids having to grow up with poeple like that as their role models!!

Cody u sir are blinded by all the baby blue. The refs were bad but seemed that all our fouls were shooting... And I saw abbey sissom after game all beat up. Rough rough team

 

I can bet that anyone would rather be roughed up (without injuries) than coast into state. I'm sure the Lionettes feel like they can beat anyone now, after escaping the round house.

From what I could gather listening to the radio broadcast there were some unruly Central fans as well and I suspect there was a little taunting from both sides. Still, there's no excuse for bad behavior. It is true that Cannon women are meaner than Spartan women. I don't ever mess with them.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
