I have no idea what her record was. Doesn't explain why she quit her teaching job. And she wasn't the coach at RHM when they beat SP so what's the relevance?

 

I don't see SP firing a teacher to have a spot for a football coach. GreenBeene said at least two teachers had give notice of intent to retire. That gives Vic some options and something to offer potential candidates.

Recon you have some good points Butchie. SP ain't a high paying job by state standards but the upside is obvious with strong tradition. Folkes that think otherwise is jest fellers with some them there Rose Colored glasses them Jasper folkes have abandoned or......else a double skillet head....figure yous can sees OP's point. The SP folkes as a whole know what coaching talent that walked the sidelines at the SP Speedway and any would have done a good job. Stone would have been a great choice, but the down side is he would have to give up the head baseball job. If another old pirate is the future head feuding coach, that is a great choice too. Point here is SP will have a strong feuding staff and continue to have momentum in building the baseball program. Now if the next hire is another Snake Oil Salesman... them theys going to be a lot more than skillets flying. Yep.....recon so!
