Wish I had known about the passing scrimmage. Sounds like not much has changed since the D-D - South scrimmage a couple months ago. Watching D-B this year might be like watching Gate City, VA play. Pound the rock over and over... Wait a minute - former Gate City head coach Nick Colobro is on staff now at D-B isn't he?

 

He is on staff, but I think he coaches the D-Line. I don't think he coaches any on the offense.

Whatever we do you can bet it will be the offense that we can do successfully. Clark has always adapted to the athletes he does or does not have. With A great QB like Duran we were pass happy. With Sensabaugh we were run oriented. I think with a question at QB we will run all night and throw maybe 5-10 passes per game and rely on our defense and clock management. You can't argue with Clark's success. ROLL TRIBE!!!!!

D-B have any good athletes coming up to speak of? Feeder programs?

I know of a bunch of teams in 7-AAA that would jump at the chance to play DB and im sure the privates in middle tn wouldnt have a problem with that as well........

As an Oak Ridge fan i would personally love to play either D-B or Oakland. Have had some great games over the years with both of those teams.

Not sure. I just know that we don't have a Swafford or Foreman this year. Defense and clock management or it won't be a good season.

Tell you what... after seeing them throw at the 7on7 the other night DB wont be as one dimensional as some may think. QB's threw well (especially on the run) WR's ran solid routes and caught well. And I was really impressed with the backs catching out of the back field.

I think everyone wanted Malik's brother to play but he's sticking to round ball. That's unfortunate because I was told by a family member that he was the better football player not just an athlete.

After watching the last 7 on 7 the QB situation is not as I had thought. Both QB's were impressive one being silghtly more accurate than the other and one having the upper hand on mobility. The team though in a down year still should have a good season. The o-line will be quite big with a average weight of approx. 250lbs with one possible Div 1 prospect.

This is when you have to ask yourself why didnt clark give the underclassmen more reps and game action.Theres no reason why a 6a school should be wondering about whos going to be the QB.JUST SAYIN

Well Clark shows a lot of loyalty to his upper class men. And I'm glad because it was all that playing time that put a couple players in orange for the next few years. Have to respect that. He knows what he's doing. Although I would feel better knowing what were going to have this year. Lol. ROLL TRIBE!!!!
