ParisRiverRat
Last year Jalen Hurd ran in front of the bus back to Sumner Co. He was well oiled and full of gasoline, especially with that Senior line he had last year. I see him having another solid game this year, but thankfully, playing at home,he won't have to carry the bus back to town. I see him getting hit alot this year, and breaking tackles, and getting hit some more. The last 2 5A state champions will tangle, and it shoud be a good game. This is just the appetizer before the November 29th meeting...
doppelganger1989
I was lucky enough to watch both games in person this weekend. I have to say I had as much worry about HC as SC until Firday. HCs QB is better than I expected but the other skill positions not. Mainly though, Henry county's lines are either young or inexperienced or both. Either way, they donn't match up with Beech and I'll go ahead and say this one will be ugly because of that. notredame66
Beech can and will be scored on , the trick is can you score more then them? I watched the game for a 2nd time and if I gave a game ball it's to BHS fullback , kid blasts to the LOS and locates his block SC proved you can pass on Beech - can HC? Still Beech finds a way to win and suspect they take this I put Vegas line at Pts scored ( over ) at
Kevin38
Kevin, your prognostications regarding HC have been so bizarrely inaccurate over the past three years that I am somewhat comforted by your comments above. I fear that your Boskie-esque disdain for the Patriots influences your thinking. If you really think that Beech's Oline is better than that of MBA, well.;............. GO BIG RED I have not seen MBA at all this year, I was more so referring to the jamboree and the game this past week, and yes, Obion Co, was worn down pretty good from 1 quarter to the next. I dont feel I am over selling the depth issue at all actually, that has been the main factor for HC thus far. I really didnt mean to ruffle feathers, just an honest assessment, not gonna bicker over it though, I will let the game do the talking.....lol Edited August 26, 2013 by Kevin38
eers
Beech by at least 2 scores.
Kevin38
Further more, I would like for HC to win if for nothing more, come play-off, I will not have to drive 2 and a half hours to see the game if they play.....lol

dhstennis
short week = HC advantage best player(s) = Beech advantage all 3 rbs are ridiculous depth = HC advantage size = Beech advantage speed = Beech advantage HCs defense has a lot to be desired...liberty struggled all preseason getting 1st downs...as u guys saw in the 2nd half...but the 1st half we gashed u pretty good...and our guys barely made it to half...the 10 ppl in our stands could see them goin downhill...if it wasnt for the INT at the end of the 2nd and a pretty sweet throw and better catch we go into half tied up at 7... ur boys still need to pack on some pounds...im not use to seeing them this thin...and hurd as well as the sophomore rb are large...much like ur own fb... lot of points in this game...i bet more than last year...Beech D is awful but HC doesnt have Mr Malone catching passes to open it up like station camp... good luck and enjoy...too bad this one wont be on TV

DHSFB64
Tandem,my take on the Bucs aftr the SC game is that they are just as good as advertised.Certainly Hurd is spectacular and Carter almost as good( lucky for us that they can't both carry the ball at the same tme). 41, the fullback is outystanding and the new O-line is far better than adequate. The only chink in their armor as I see it and asyou outlined is the number of both way players: HC has none. We are hoping for game time temp of 98 with 98% relative humidity.Otherwise, it seems pretty hopeless. GO BIG RED ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gotta agree with you 'oledevil '..#41 was MVP imo ..played awesome both ways..fb and lb...going to be lots of points put up in this one..good luck
Sarge38
Good luck to the Pats. I'll definitely be making the trip, but after seeing us on Friday and then Beech on Sunday, I don't have a great feeling about this one.
