what about the young men from west greene - chuckey doak north greene and many more teams that have kids that are on the team for 4 years and never get to play at all except on jv night so why r u picking on greeneville answer me that  JACK!

Haha, that's quite hilarious, sir/madam. I don't see the correlation between me using the metaphor of how you degrade fans from other schools and constantly make them feel as though they are nothing compared to you, much mightier, Greeneville fans and using a Bible verse. But hey, this is your world, I'm just living here. If me using the metaphorical image of a slave owner to liken your actions of making people feel worthless got you riled up and maybe ticked you off, maybe I stepped on your toes. Sorry, sir, but my "true colors" are not needed to be shown on this sight. There was nothing about that post, or even that line, that was hate-filled or anything of the like. would working out with a team before you are enrolled at a school be a violation. Could being invited to work out at the nicest facilities you have ever seen at a high school before you are enrolled at a school be considered the "R" word? Someone who has no idea what they are talking about tell me that this didn't happen. All of that is FACT!

I'm sure you mean well, but this is a sports fan message board and trash talking is what we do. There is nothing that riles us more than some idealogical yahoo who creates a screen name, and attempts to make some sort of social statement that ends up as insulting as the behavior you insist is damaging our young people. You have only managed to demonstrate your lack of football knowledge, lack of county school system knowledge (I mean they are open zone and accept sudents from "all over" as well) and lack of knowledge of GHS ( I mean they are a good school with a generous budget compared with the county schools but I don't think they have hired a dean yet). You are correct in your statement that the WG fans talk about nothing but recruiting and money , etc yet you defend their class warfare tactics. You worry about how OUR trash talking affects these young people but don't mention how their attitudes towards Greeneville(the townfolk, not the team) will impact future relations between our kids. Well, here's a newsflash for you...the kids really don't care. They can square off on the field on Friday night and go hunting together on Saturday morning.  Do yourself a favor, Blockhead, retire your screen name after 3 or 4 posts. If the lively conversation on a sports message board offends your sensabilities you might be better suited for the more sedate nature of a quiet little scrapbooking board

Barb, you're quite correct that these boys on the field can beat heads on Friday night, yet go on Saturday mornings hunting together. The boys on the field are not the people that I'm calling out in my posts. I'm calling out the over zealous fans, such as yourself and your other band of Devil fans, that insist upon bashing other fans. And as for the requirement of trash talking on this fan forum, if the purpose of the site were purely for trash talking, the subject lines wouldn't simply read, "Greeneville vs. Claiborne". It's high school football, why would you want to trash talk in some of the ways that you talk to people on here. Also, just curious, in what way did I ever show my lack of football knowledge? I honestly don't think I spoke one word of football in either of my previous posts. As for the comment about trying to make a social statement, I'm certain that was not my intent. If I wanted to make a social statement I have better outlets than CoachT to do so. My intention was to make you aware of how incredibly ridiculous it is to harp back and forth about nonsensical issues that have nothing to do with you. You, Barb, are a narcissistic  bully. everyone plays to their skill level WG and not everyone ooz attends Greeneville for athletics. My daughter attended Greeneville ooz for 4 years and never set foot on the playing field ( I stand corrected, the chorus sang the National Anthem at homecoming). She did however receive a generous academic scholarship. Perhaps you should go after those horrible academic instructors at Greeneville who are out in the county recruiting all the smart kids
