Riverside vs Jackson Christian

What ya'll think?  I don't know much about JCS.

This should be a dandy! It will be a shoot out as I believe both teams are getting better and better each week. I think Riverside wins it by 10 but it will be very high scoring. Prediction.... 52-42! It would not surprise me if JC pulled an upset but if turnovers are kept to a minimum Riverside should win. I think both if these teams are being heavily overlooked!

Both of these teams are getting better and TCA is the consensus #1 in the Dirty Dozen for West Tennessee. I think Riverside will win over JCS but this should be a real good ball game.

If Jackson Christian gets beat in this game, they are all but eliminated from finishing first or second in the district and would have to rely on a wild card birth to make the playoffs.  I believe you will need six wins to ensure a wild card bid.  That makes this game an absolute must win for the Eagles.  This is espedcially true with a Week 10 game at Adamsville to end the regular season after the Week 9 game wtih vs. McNairy Central. 

 

Riverside is still in a position to finish in the top two in the district.  As they already have 5 wins, they are in good position should they need a wild card birth to make the playoffs. 

 

While the game is very important for both teams, this game is basically Jackson Christian's season in my opinion.

I usually don't predict lopsided outcomes, too many variables...got a gut feeling that Riverside is too physical for the Eagles and if Ward (and everyone else) is 100 % the Panthers run over JCS big.

I think this game is the "Game of the week" in West Tennessee. I still think JC has a shot at an upset. Good luck to both teams!

I look for Riverside to continue the roll they are on here lately and beat JCS. Robertson has the Panthers playing well. This game is big when it comes to district standings. Good Luck to both teams. If I wasn't going to be in middle TN tonight I would try and make this game.
