Who will be the next Head Coach at Knox Central

Talent level at Central is over rated. Nothing like it was in the 90's and early 2000's. Some good skill players are in place but line play and depth is a major issue. New Coach will have major rebuilding job. With that being said don't look for Central to regain the form they had in there hey day. Play off team periodically but not a powerhouse they once was. Administration should approach Coach Macmillen who I believe is teaching at Central and is currently DC at Fulton. Derek Rang if Knox Co would hire him. Reach out to Matt Lowe. Dark horse candidate could be the young head coach at Union Co. Young emtergetic and a disciple of George Quarles. Think most important is the Administration needs to reach out and show interest in candidates as opposed to waiting on them to apply. Let's face it coaching in Knox County schools is not what you would call a good situation.

I agree with you. Ellison is a good coach has done some good things in his career & Clintons offense put up some big #s this year. There should be some quality applicants for this job, but if they will go outside of Knox County & bring in some Fresh blood he could do a great job.

 

On another note I am sure Mark Pemberton will apply lol, he has been at Rhea County for 1 full season so he is probably ready to move.
