Overrated, only time will tell! Vikings can't have four (4) turnovers but I will take Vikings by seven (7)!!

Humboldt better cut down on the to's Friday night! I look for Humboldt to open it up more Friday night. Last night the Vikings just ran basic off tackle plays and up the middle and Coach Reid took Mclilly out of the game early. It will be a good football game Friday night!

What people fail to realize is that the falcons had two backs rush for 130 apiece last night. If Dresden can run the ball and I know they can throw it better than most in this area then they will win.

I agree, Humboldt had 340 yards rushing & 16 years passing! I'm thinking coach Reid will open up the passing game so that we are not so predictable! The good thing is that Dresden will have to prepare for the Spread, solid I & power formation that the Vikings run, didn't show much last night!! Vikings can't have four (4) turnovers again or it probably will be a route!!!

The Vikings are going to "Shock" everybody & get a win at Dresden, something tells me the coaches will have them ready!!! Everyone is not giving the Vikings a chance but " We will fight to the end"!!!

You might be the only one shocked if the vikings win. I think Dresden will have to play one of their best games to win. With that said it will be the team who takes care of the football that probably wins. If Humboldt rushes for 340 we are toast. But I don't see this team giving up 300 rushing yards. Our passing game seems to be clicking and I believe we can run the ball so it should be a dandy.

87 I will have to say that Coach Ried showed some nerve last night by using the power I format and not tipping his hand to all that the Vikings can do. Dresden will have to prepare for both styles of play. You guys are giving everyone plenty to think about. Since y'all torched UC with your passing game last time I suspect we will see a good mix of that if you make it out of the LION"S DEN.

I was trying to be funny, Since everyone is picking Dresden! I know it's going to be a tough game depends on which team makes the least amount of turnovers & make the adjustments!!!

Hope everyone is right but I'm a little more pessimistic then most. lol

Should be worth the extra price of admission!!!!

      From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated

      Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
