Interestingly enough, unapproved website now has Oakland ranked #1 in the state (all classifications) and #29 in the country. Maryville is #2, and Ensworth is #3. Thoughts? I suppose their computers put plenty of weight on a blowout victory against a beat up Siegel team.

Either team would be a victim for the Maryville Rebels. I think Oakland will be too strong for Blackman.

I don't believe either statement you made is necessarily fair. Oakland, Blackman, and Maryville are the top three teams in 6A, and to definitively say that any of those teams would lose to the other is foolish. Although my prediction is the same as yours (Oakland winning this game and facing Maryville in the semis), Blackman should not be counted out of this one just because Oakland is "stronger". Coach Shadowens produces the most fundamentally sound teams in the state year in and year out. In addition, Coach Shadowens seems to do pretty well in revenge games in the playoffs (would be interested to see his record in revenge games if anyone could find it). The Patriots MUST be sure not to leave some of the same plays that they left out on the field last time. If I remember correctly, there were three separate instances where Oakland drove inside of Blackman's 40 and stalled in the first game.

If my memory serves me correctly Blackman was the team with four turnovers and lost by 6, that will not happen this game, Blackman will play a much more disciplined game this time around, can't wait to see this one!!!!! We Are Blackman!!!

Lets remember that turnovers do not force themselves. Oakland's defense is unreal this season. The last time the 1st team Patriot Defense gave up a touchdown was against Baylor on October 11th. That was five games ago. The first team to two touchdowns wins this one!
