jake
Blackman and Oakland don't recruit the top athletes from around the country and they certainly don't have the depth. Apples and oranges. The college thing was thrown in there for Mr. Notre Dame......no more talk of this until next week, if it happens. Good luck to Oakland and Blackman on what will surely be a hard fought game tomorrow night.....I hope both comes out of it injury free. CU06
Analysis of both teams thru 12 games... Records: OHS 12-0 BHS 10-2 Pts scored: OHS 448 BHS 448 Pts allowed: OHS 98 BHS 145 Common opponents: OHS vs Siegel [35-25, 35-0] BHS vs Siegel [42-21] OHS vs Smyrna [37-14] BHS vs Smyrna [28-13, 42-0] OHS vs R'dale [41-7] BHS vs R'dale [35-0] OHS vs Lavergne [58-7] BHS vs Lavergne [44-7] OHS vs SC [62-6] BHS vs SC [55-7] Best Wins: (excluding last matchup) OHS at White Station [22-8], vs Arlington [39-0] BHS vs Independence [47-6], at Ravenwood [47-14] Last time was by far Oakland's toughest win during the regular season, and Blackman followed that up by losing another nail-biter in KY the next week. Whoever comes out of this game victorious will be battle-tested and very deserving to be in the final four. Should be exciting to watch. Best of luck to both teams staying injury free tonight! oldhick76
Anyone know for sure if this game is going to be streamed online? If so, where? nfhsnetwork.com you may have to pay a fee $15 for month of November - quite a few games available. The fee would include next weeks games as well. Some games are free. Also highlights and past games. I get three laptops (borrow from the kids) and watch three games at once. Watched six games last week from Maryville to Memphis. Lost Old Dad
I can say this about the game and that is Siegel never seemed like they threatened Oakland from start to finish. Your talking about a Siegel team that was so beat up, that they got beat by R'dale the week before. If Siegel had played R'dale early and when healthy they would have won that game. Thusly do not take that win as an indication of anything in this weeks game.

Riverdale beat a very good Siegel because Riverdale improved all season.
