It seems to be more of a forum to discuss the ones who did not make it.... LOL. Everyone thinks his or her girl deserves it......

Not really…I just think this is all a bunch of nonsense….Miss This and Mr. That voted by sportwriters that only saw a handful play and would only be marginally capable of discerning talent if it hit them in the face….which leads to focus either mostly or only on individual scoring stats. And we wonder why some players and parents have turned into monsters….ladies and gentlemen...my I introduce the mother of selfishness and division in team sports, all brought to you by would be adults.

I am biased but I sure would like to see Sissom from Cannon County get it for AA. This is her 3rd year in a row being nominated and the young lady has had such a fantastic career. I would love to see her get the recognition.

Isn't she the girl who shot that NBA three against McMinn Central last year that won the game as time expired in substate?

The argument for East Tennessee stopping at Knoxville is laughable. My guess is CyclonePrider isn't old enough to remember the 90s and 00s when there where NET teams were season long top 5 and even No. 1. Usually the media around that area votes in a bloc for their best teams. Over the years it's been a bit more based on records without looking at who the teams have played.

Betsy has a great team. They've been one of 3 AA teams to beat Grainger the last 2 years. No one is taking anything away from the twins. Allison Hodge is most definitely worthy of this honor in being a finalist. She was last season as well, but didn't get to that point. Maybe one of the twins will get the nod next season. My guess is there's a lot that can happen over the remainder of their prep careers, so anything is possible.

I do not know how this award is determined, but, if one has seen Rachel Bell play, there should be no doubt that she was the most talented player. I'm just not sure who is the second best. Congrats to all the winners!

Agree. Blows my mind that Rachel Bell did not win it! I saw no one close to her ability play in the AA state tournament!
