Their enrollment allowed them to. They were pretty close to the bottom of AA for a while before the last enrollment count.

Meigs Co. was the faster and more athletic team!

'Mags' County as we here in southeast Tennessee call it has a pretty good team led by Swafford. Hope to see the 'Mags' County boys get a good draw on Saturday too. Every game is a tough one as there are no 'gimme' games at this level. GO LADY TIGERS!

Didn't blow through, girls lost District Championship and Region Championship to Grace but went on the road and beat a VERY VERY good CLOUDLAND team in OT. So if that's blowing through that's what they did.GO LTs

CAN YOU SAY SCREWED BY 3 OF THE WORST OFFICIALS. MEIGS WENT 34 OF 41 FROM THE FOUL LINE, NO ONE CAN WIN AGAINST THAT. GOOD LUCK JACKSON COUNTY HOPE YOU GUYS CAN PULL IT OFF, BUT HOPE MORE YOU DONT GET THOSE 3 OFFICIALS!!

Quit whining Big Fan.  Good God you have what 7/8 gold balls. Come to a large city where you have to share all your athletes and see what happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I said Meigs had enough quality in their line-up to give anyone a game up there and that is proving to be true.  I know UC will be a big favorite in the next one too....but Meigs can stretch you out and obviously, get to the free throw line.  I bet ole Lamar stood over there by the officials and whispered some sweet or obnoxious sentiments to the Zebras all through the game.  My guess is the only ones he can control are the ones in Fentress County...!   Just ignore me....C-Range is a quality basketball team that consistently wins and when it doesn't. it is big news.  They will be right back their next year with another outstanding team.  Swafford plays like a boy.....!  Impressive win.
