I am very sorry to all of the coacht members! I try to cover my shortcomings as an owl by riding the jocks of successful teams. We as owls have never played in let alone won the last game of the season. Thus, my need to live through the actions of other teams. The shortfalls in my pants drive me to be annoying to everyone. Once the Stars beat the breaks off my owls again, I won't be seen in anyone else's threads.

Name to remember, Martavious "Tae Tae" Williams. He is an absolute monster!!!

"Tae Tae" huh? If he wore his same numbered jearsy during the Trezevant scrimmage (#52) that he wore last season, then I can say that I saw him lay the wood on some poor unsuspecting RBs. I saw him layy some folk out!

Monster indeed!

Finally starting to mature and control his emotions. Just a junior so I expect big things from him!

Yeah, I saw where he is just a Jr. Throw in Ced Brown, and EJ; the LB corps is TIGHT!

Is coach E going to let Josh swicth DE positions? Allow him to slide down to DT if he so chose to do so? It's just a thought because you already know the double teams are going to come.

We (whs) got torched last year against the pass. Our DB's were young and inexperienced. We will be much better this year with the potential of dontae to be a lock down cb, and some one else to keep your eye on is soph safety name devon. Jetts lil brother. His ability to cover the field with great 200 meter track speed will wow you... he has great ability to break on the ball. If rock ain't performing look for young devon. He injured his shoulder last year and sat out but he is 100 now...throw in fidell and brodie and we have plenty of speed and experience to get us there

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
