Greeneville Vs. MoWest

A game against West and a scrimmage against anyone are two different things.Greeneville and DB both got a wealth of knowledge from that scrimmage the other day.Greeneville knows they can't just line up against a good team and not toss the ball atleast a little. The Devil's season has a lot of opportunity to work on passing even when it's not necessary to beat most teams.I don't know the defensive end -maybe outside backer playing like Clay Matthews on Greeneville's defensive right side { I believe he had number 30 on }DB had a hard time of getting him blocked and a bad mismatch for a running back to pick up.Anyway, a shout-out to that young man. Also that one young man playing safety for Greeneville really comes up fast when it looks wide open.Good luck to the Devils against MW.I remember what good athletes they had when I played against them at Burley.Speaking of Burley Stadium.Have they done anything new with the pressbox and bathrooms yet

aside from painting the pressbox, which they had done last time you were there, NO, no improvements yet.

On the 5A/6A thread the DB fans were saying that Greeneville got their lunch handed to them in the scrimmage, so are we sure West is a pushover?

i didnt get to make the DB scrimmage, as i had the pleasure of taking my teenager daughter to the fair, but what i heard from2 people that were there, and from one staffer of the Devils, DB had their way with our ones. D couldnt stop anything and basically it was a blood letting....that said, i WASNT THERE, so i have no clue what happened. Like batman said though, it doesnt matter too much what went down cause DB usually always handles us in scrimmages with a couple exceptions here and there. Im not sure that scrimmage has squat to do with the outcome of the MoWest game, but before that even happens, we got a tussle with the HILL next week to look forward to. I hear the toppers are stacked this year....anyone know if that's fact or fiction??

Science Hill has a good high scoring offense but a terrible defense. The'll run the score up on bad teams and get it handed to them against good teams with a good defense.

I wouldn't say the D didn't stop them.  Considering the spots they were put in and only gave up 10 first team points.

Any scrimmage updates?  Heard the Hill was up by 4 touchdowns at the half.

I just read the article on in the JC Press, and evidently Science Hill has now beaten Greeneville, DB, and South.  I guess I was wrong all along; scrimmages count now.  ;)
