7-0 Maryville in the 1st. It sucks that Webb is the home team in Knoxville(from what was said on the broadcast)

The only difference was MHS got to wear all white in the heat and Webb was in all black plus the crew was from Knox County.

I thought the game was a little closer than the score. A few big plays for murvil (#28 run, #81 catch and run, #6 catch) were the difference in the game. I thought #28 ran well. #1 completed several in a row to start the game. Webb looked good to me. Tough old fullback. QB with a lot of quickness. A huge RT. All in all, a very competitive game. And yes, #27 in white continues to impress.

Bryce Miller is the real deal. If I was a coach for a school like MTSU,Tenn Tech or a smaller D1 School I would be all over Bryce. Jaylen Burgess has gotten better. He has more wiggle. Kelby Brock continues to shine.

 

Defense bent some but only broke once. Glad to have Matt Young back. TD Blackmon is a star in the making. I think he can play SEC Football one day.

 

I think this is the best Webb team Maryville has played. Webb was very physical. Brant Mitchell is a stud. Wish UT could have made room for him.

 

Nice win for Maryville. People predicting 35-0 or 45-0 scores were crazy. Webb has a darn good program that has won several state titles.

 

Next week is BIG.
