Loudon @ William Blount

Loudon 27 William Blount 20 in a close game. Don't let that Maryville game play with your heads because that was the third string and if they were out to not lose they would not have punted that ball away or came out that last series with the third string offense. Loudon has nine back on both sides of the ball that got better as the year went. This will be close but because of last week I think William Blount just got set up for a sucker punch Friday Night their not counting on.

I don't believe this is going to happen Barn....the ones that matter at WB know exactly who was in the game for MHS the other night, so that hasn't went to anyone's head (that matters).

And how would you know that? I have been going to WB games for years and I used to go to some practices but haven't been much in the last two years because i'm usually working during the evenings. So I know quiet a bit but when I don't know I ask. One thing I do know for sure is our QB situation is better than it has been in years and that's one reason I am really excited about this team. We have had lackluster QB play since burstrom and its really exciting to see that we have two QBs who can get it done for us.

My son plays for Loudon so I have been to all the scrimmages and the starters haven't played much, but we got 3 days to see if the film you watching is the same players that start both sides of the ball.10 seniors

Yes, we will see....I am about to go watch some more tape of Loudon. Good luck to your son this season.

Is #3 in your scrimmages a transfer or did he play for Loudon last year? I remember the QB #10 and #21 from last year, but I don't remember #3 being there. Best I remember, their RB last year was #32 or #35.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
