Is anybody else watching this game on tv? Every penalty on alcoa other than the first one has been terrible! The TV guys have both said on every penalty that it was a bad call. Maryville pushes alcoa db in the back in the endzone and its a no call. Maryville hops a ball to the reciever on 3rd down and its a catch! The tv announcer says, " well remember you are playing AT maryville!" I am by no means saying alcoa should be winning because that is not the case, but good lord...when the tv announcers have said you have missed every call??????

No question, officiating is pathetic but that doesn't change the fact that MHS is clearly the vastly superior team. Alcoa offense looks awful, mainly due to MHS defense.

Norman, I agree! Maryville is great. Officiating is horrible. Alcoa looks very shell shocked!

Our defense is dominant and Alcoa's play calling screamed desperation from the first series. Those are the main issues imo.

I think Alcoa's coaches knew they had to roll the dice with some trickery because they are totally outmanned physically by MHS. Not only is MHS bigger, they look faster, too. AHS power running game will be fine against everyone else on their schedule but not against Rebels.

Officiating is questionable at best, BUT, the fact that Alcoa at one point had more penalty yards than total yards says it all. Maryville is that good.
