crow
Good answer to what? You didn't ask a question. You are obviously looking to start an argument but accusing a team that has not lost a district game in 6 consecutive seasons & has won 6 straight league championships despite playing up a classification is not a very good point to argue. kazam37
Going back through the stats....these two were about as equal as you can get. Oneida 11 first downs to 12 for GB. 18 yards was the difference in total yardage which favored GB too. Oneida outrushed GB 163 to 142, but GB had more total passing yards 77-28. The difference in the game ended up being turnovers....GB lost two and Oneida did not have a TO. Lawson was Oneida's rushing leader with 88 while Anderson finished with 89. Like I said....two very equal teams played this game. As far as field position the punting averages is also very telling....Oneida's punter averaged 41.3 on 3 punts while GB's punter was 23.3 also on 3 punts. Based on all that, the results were about right. Kazanity
Polarsloth
Sounds like the cf gb game . Cf out gained gb 315 to 240 on offense but lost the turnover battle. Sounds like it was a good game. Edited September 25, 2014 by Polarsloth
rtl112
The Knox paper had it more like 260-230.

Polarsloth
Could be just going off Morgan county news stats. I know cf dropped a lot of balls on offense and probably more interceptions on defense. Most of gb yardage came on three big plays that I can remember. rtl112
Didn't see the GB game. But against Oz their passing game looked sharp. And on D What little I seen of it, Zack seemed to most effective over the nose.

Sounds like it was a good game.Actual games stats GB 43 plays 237 yrds,CF 70 plays 284 yrds.GB rushed for more yrds CF passed for more yrds8.CF had about 70 yrds on first pass play from scrimmage and was held on 4 downs on the goal line.Other than that play CF didnt do much until fourth when GB went to prevent and they threw the ball effectivly with no rush from GB.CF had 116 total rush yrds.GB is a big play team.Line is not great but skill players can break one at any time.CF doesnt have a big play team this yr(against decent D's).The QB is on his way to being an outstanding player.Oline and Dline suffered without the experience tbey have had the past 3 to 4 yrs.The GB game should have easliy been 40-7 thats what was so frustrating.Three missed field goals would have been 26-7.That game is done and so is Oneida its time to move on to the wonderful off week. Then get back to it.Good luck to both of you all. Doesn't matter though a loss is a loss . They will probably meet again this year. I guess if gb shows up for that game it will be 40-7.
