District 11A and 12A ..

With Linden getting their leading scorer Miranda Boutwell back from her injury these girls looked good last night. The turnover bug and some bad officiating on both ends made it interesting but Linden kept adding and are having a nice season. Hopefully these ladies can keep it up.

so Collinwood's star Risner is gone for the year?? Is that a definite? That's bad for them and

I feel real bad for her, I think she is a senior? They still have a very

strong team but would have been better with her no doubt

tough for the young lady and the team

Summertown girls just beat Collinwood 44-32.

As expected, with the youth that Summertown is playing with, it's a roller coaster ride. They look as if they can play with anyone around and then the next quarter struggle to score at all. Growing pains, but they are fortunate to be playing heavy minutes during their freshmen year, not sure anyone is excited about playing them the next few years. Having 8/9 players that could stay together for 4 years is often not seen, especially in A basketball.

Agreed.  they are definitely fun to watch.  If they can time their train-wreck quarters right, they can win big.  Lots of talent on that team.  Will be interesting to see how the next 3-4 years works out for them.
