Well, If your talking about a total team player QB Jennings is one of the best but if your looking at the stats he doesnt even rank in the top 25 in passing in 6A. He's actually not even in the the top 3 in his own district. Rumor has it that he will not be playing QB at UT but was recruited as a safety or DB. I guess only time will tell.

Actually they have already said he will get his shot at QB, and the way he has progressed/improved in his passing over the course of the season, some have said to not be surprised if he is starting at QB next fall b/c of how good he could run the read option. Time will tell.....

Deuce Wallace Junior at Sevier County 6'2" 205 4.7 40

As a freshman he threw for 3,100 yards and 34 TDs w/16 Ints 62% completion rate. Made it to the quarterfinals for La. Played against John Curtis twice (national champions)

As a sophomore he threw for 1,800 yards in 6 games with 17 TDs w/6 Ints. 64% completion rate. Missed 3 games due to a broken leg (fibula) but made it back for the playoffs and threw for over 400 yards. Played on that broken leg for a whole quarter against Newman (Peyton and Eli's school in New Orleans) and had two 80 yard drives to win the game.

So far this year Deuce has thrown for 1,900 yards with 16 TDs and 3 Ints. 68% completion rate.

He also threw for over 400 yards against Alcoa...in middle school.

247sports.com, Unapproved Website and Scout.com already have him ranked as a 3 star.

Being heavily recruited by UT, Miss State, LSU, FSU, Vandy, UK, MTSU, Northwestern, UNC, Wake Forest, Purdue and a few others.

He needs to come to UT!

Not sure who "they" is but no one on the UT staff has said anything about Jennings playing QB. He has been mentioned several times though as a safety.....quote your "they" source...

    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
    • Yeah. AC brass walked in to the building at Clinton and suggested that the principal start changing grades.  Honesty, the notion that anybody at AC was involved is just idiocy.  The ones who are hurt most are the kids who weren't involved in the cheating, but still are being penalized by college admission decisions and scholarship consideration simply because they went to a school that was involved in such a scandal.
