Not sure who "they" is but no one on the UT staff has said anything about Jennings playing QB. He has been mentioned several times though as a safety.....quote your "they" source...

Media mostly but his commitment was contingent on him getting a shot at QB, which was just a formality at 1st but due to how he has thrown the ball and how effective he can run the read option, at 6'4 and close to 200 pounds with some college level coaching he has a legitimate shot. This is very reasonable and anyone saying there is no way he plays QB in college it just shows their ignorance.....

Well, If your talking about a total team player QB Jennings is one of the best but if your looking at the stats he doesnt even rank in the top 25 in passing in 6A. He's actually not even in the the top 3 in his own district. Rumor has it that he will not be playing QB at UT but was recruited as a safety or DB. I guess only time will tell.

Don't get me wrong Jimmy will out throw him anyday of the week it's not even close. But he's not ranked that high for nothing.

You must coach or play at Pearl cohn cause you seem to think their players are superior to every else, not taking anything from any of those players, but let's face it, metro football does not compare to Rutherford county, so if you are judging based on play against those lackluster teams you are totally missing the boat!!!!!!

We have about 12 high schools 5or 6 privates and they planning on buildig another public...Chiilll. Ya yall have one of the toughest districts in the state but it dont mean that anybody is scared to play yall. At the End of the day yall labeled as middle TN and yall not bringing Gold balls in year after year So lets work...
