Depends on the refs whether they "let them play or not" If they call it tight ,she seems to draw alot of touch  fouls and will get in the bonus and she makes free throws. now if she can draw alot of fouls on Cm and get them in foul trouble, Cm bench is not deep they seem to only play 6 maybe 7. Smith County can win this game .. she very well could have anywhere between 25-45 pts. Could be an upset in the making....

Refs didn't call it tight...but were pretty consistent. CM won 48-42. Obi is a great player...probably had 30 points. Callie Hackett played well and had 20. Most of SC's fouls came from trying to guard Obi. Claudia Smith is a great looking player. She didn't score much for her. CM is pretty good...14-0.

DC hung a lot tougher than most expected I think. It was a 7-10 point game until LA stretched it out to 14 for the final of 60-46.

Agreed. I was surprised how well they hung in there with LA. LA seemed a bit out of it, but DC stayed scrappy and never went away.

Yeah LA didn't play well at all either...anyone else notice how lifeless both crowds seemed to be as well? Usually that gym is energetic from the start.

Yes it was a little subdued last night. Not sure why that was.

well the lackluster effort last night and against Cookeville concern me. It's still good to see we win ball games even when we are "not all there." But that will never work against a Central. The Elizabethton game from last year still frustrates me, though. :)

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
