GWAVE1
Hoping for a huge crowd, despite the mediocre season. I think the MJ faithful will show up. Gallatin also had a good reason for fan to travel. Unfortunately I cannot make the game. Gwave and Bkisler, I'm hoping or a very very detailed synopsis of the game!I will do my best. This game for more than one reason is massive. I expect a good crowd. I work with several MJ supporters and they are all excited for this game. BKisler
This will be great game ! A lot on the line for both teams.I cant wait for kick off. It will an honor to walk out on the field with my son and his senior teammates for senior night. Hard to believe this will be their last home game. It has been a pleasure watching these young men play ball for the last several years. Let's go Bears ! Time to crank it up. A new season starts tonight ! GO BEARS ! BKisler
Safe travels for the Wave and their fans and all 9AAA teams and fans to and from the games tonight ! Edited October 24, 2014 by BKisler
GWAVE1
Lots of respect in this rivalry. Gallatin owns a large edge in the overall series 26-7 but I can almost remember every defeat. Maybe this game can get carried over for a few more years despite the new classifications. Have a safe travel BKisler. Hope nobody gets hurt either. Also hoping for a huge Green Wave victory!! GWAVE1
When your team has 4 turnovers and still wins something has to be going right. The 14-14 halftime lead stayed true until around the 6 minute mark of the 4th qtr. The two teams swapped the lead and 29 pts in the final minutes. After MJ scored with 1:24 secs left I knew it would take some huge plays. Dee Redding came through in the clutch with some huge catches in the :42 it took to score. Nick Tuck made a great 7 yard dive in the endzone for the final td. The 2 pt conversion was huge and Meador made that happen. Then Gallatin has to hang on with Chowbay making some big throws to get into Fg range. The 47 yard attempt goes wide as the final second ticks off. I have never seen a team miss 4 fgs in one game before. Little Mahler was the spark for MJ, what a tough guy to bring down. MJ helped the Wave cause with some terrible penalties. Really proud of Gallatin and the fan support after the game. Great win tonight!!
