MJGOLDENBEARS
Thanks. I figured a Wilson Co paper may have some stats. Why do they not have a stat guy? Gallatin has had one for years.Too many slices of humble pie is my guess.
MJGOLDENBEARS
Chowbay for the year: 79 for 149 for 1385 yds with 13 TD's and 7 int. Has an outstanding ability to make something out of nothing. The statement "he makes everyone else around him better" definitely applies. GHS must keep him in the pocket and not allow the scramble plays.Awesome thanks, where did you find this?

He completed passes to 6 different receivers against Hville with Landis (#6) and Simpson (#87) being the leaders. Also watch out for Comacho and Jackson. Definitely a huge playmaker for this district. I have heard that they are kind of small along the lines but that usually means they are quick. Gallatin knows this is the biggest test since the start of this winning streak. Lots on the line for both squads.
BKisler
This should be a great game. I think it comes down to who wins the turnover battle. MJ has an excellent secondary; but the key will be if MJ can slow down Gallatin running game. I think the by week was a big help and the Bears will be re focused. They know that if they beat the Wave they are in the playoffs. Beating a good team like Gallatin would give a lot of confidence going into the playoffs. Bears will spread the ball around to many on offense. Special teams will be huge.

Slowing down the MJ offense will be a huge task for the Green Wave. They have gotten considerably better on defense but still can improve. The changes made have helped a lot. I think Gallatin is focused on MJ because I know last week it was hard for them not to overlook Portland. This game was in bold since the start of this winning streak. Not sure if Gallatin can pull of the upset but they should fight tooth and nail the entire game.
MajorZ
Good luck to both teams Friday- Hopefully it will be another classic game and be an injury free game. It would be great for the Seniors to go out on a high note-Hard to believe it is the last home game of the season.

They are playing as good as anyone the last 4 games. They are playing with a lot of confidence. MJ has been looking forward to this game since last year. The Bears always have the Gallatin game circled. This has been a classic rivalry. This being the last home game for the seniors will mean a lot as Major said. Cant wait for Friday ! GWAVE1
Possible ending of this rivalry and Gallatin not winning over there since they built the new school just adds to the playoff consequences for this game. Weather right now looks clear and cool. Love when it gets like this!!
