Gallatin at Mount Juliet

Yes, I definitely remember watching that one. 2011. Both were 7-0 going into the game and that place was Packed! MJ simply showed up to play and GHS didn't look prepared in that one. But both of those teams were MUCH more talented than the rest of the district that year IMO. And that may had very well been MJ's best team in history.

I think that was their best team ever. They had a really good team that lost to Munford in the 90's but I think the one in 2011 was better.

So what about this Meador kid at QB for Gallatin? He has thrown quite a few touchdowns the past weeks.

Yeah the kid has really played well since returning from his injury. Gallatin has developed several quality receivers and a solid one two punch at runningback. I think they are more solid on offense than last year. The defense has consistently gotten better over the last 4 weeks too. They have really worked on the fundamentals and being in the right spots. Coaching staff has really done well with making the needed changes and filling in for the injuries.

Well sounds about how I expected. They have been blowing teams out with ease, throwing the ball efficiently, and running effectively as well. If I had one concern for Gallatin it would be Special teams. It seems like they miss a lot of two point conversions... Do you all have an effective kicker? Edited by MJGOLDENBEARS

Not sure if he has missed an extra point try all year. Only attempted one fg and made that one. They have gone for 2 a few times and I bet they are above average on that. Punter is pretty good too. They have not shown a lot in the return game because of kickoffs going into the endzone or those pooch kicks that are so popular now. I know MJ has a good kicker. How is your return game?

Return game is anywhere from average to good, have had a few nice returns this year. Our kicker on kickoffs, consistently drills them through the endzone.

What are Chowbay's numbers? Who are his favorite targets? I am sure he has over 1000 yards this year passing.

MJ has never cared about having a statistician, nor will they ever. With that being said I wish they would have one for the players sake. Here is the best I can help you out with Chowbay's numbers. A link to his hudl account http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1586013/nolan-chowbay Edited by MJGOLDENBEARS

Thanks. I figured a Wilson Co paper may have some stats. Why do they not have a stat guy? Gallatin has had one for years.
