Monterey has a pretty stout defense. One good TB. A really good blocking FB. They throw it a little but not very effective. The FB is also a middle LB and is all over the field. They usually just try and grind you down.

From everything I have heard and read this is going to be a very physical ball game. Both teams with the same mindset of I'm going to give u everything I got every play and wear I down. Can't wait

They beat Midway by 2 correct.Midway is not very good!

Basin plays tough physical game and won't quit. Their backs are very good size for 1A. I look for CB to win this game buts that's mostly because I haven't seen Monterey

I agree,i expect Basin to rep the quad in the Semis.

Yeah i think the semi will be between Copper Basin and Greenback and the winner gets to be slaughtered by Union City. I might go to the Blue Cross Bowl if the Cougs happen to make it that far.

Monterey is not some juggernaut but they are not bad. Even though they only one by two they dominated on defense until the fourth quarter. They did have several breakdowns to give up big plays but until then they absolutely shut Midway down. Offensively they are nothing special but just try to grind you down.

BD i hope we get to cross paths your one of them crazy type dudes i would like to meet!Feel priviledged (LOL) i have only met up with two on hear and beleive it or not it was a couple of them GCA Rams!They are good people tho!I am going up one day to watch a game with crow from Oneida also.Maybe if the good Lord shines down on both of these teams it might just happen.Good luck guys and as of right now it doesnt matter if your good or below average,you have won the games put in front of you and are still putting the helmet on Fri night.One of these 4 below average teams is bringing a silver ball home at the least!
