You Jasper kinfolkes is only playing them cause you've been made too quit playing smaller schools for fear of getting earholed. Pert near sure them puke purple unies were going to get some Yellow striping! LOPAO,.....

I will comment on the Hixson statement. Hixson in 2013 was loaded by evidence of their deep playoff run. Last year they were average at best. I expect them to be average again in 2015 with Marion beating them by 1-2 TDs.

Sale creek Whitwell, lookout valley, SP were all in the district last 2 years. In case you didn't know you gotta play teams in your district. But you are from SP so you must know everything there is to know about football.

By the way as dominant as SP was in 1a for so long why not move up to 2a and face a lil tougher competition in the playoffs. A few other smaller schools have chosen to move up or stay up in classification. Heck even MC won in 3a back when they had the talent but I guess SP will always play the we are a very very small school card. And yes MC is a bigger school but it's not like they have 1,000 kids in the school. It's usually around 450 500

The only public schools I know that play up are Maryville and Alcoa. SP plays where they are placed just like Marion County plays where they are placed.

Not taking anything away from what SP has done the last 10 years either I think it was a great run. Just get tired of people always bringing up how big a school MC is and how small SP is. Alcoa is a small school too but look at what they accomplish year in and year out.
