Nashville Christian at Union City - West Semi-Finals

Those of you who are nervous about having enough time to eat before the game and still get a good parking spot, I've got a suggestion for you. The UCHS cheerleaders are sponsoring a wings, chili, and hotdog supper for $7/plate on Friday night from 5:00 to 6:30 at the UCHS cafeteria which is across the street from the football field. The girls are raising money for a cheerleading competition trip.

As far as lodging and dining in UC, there are a couple of more places that weren't mentioned earlier. The Hospitality House is a locally owned hotel in town. There is a locally owned restaurant named Hops & Barley behind the Chevrolet dealership that has a good grilled menu and several TV's tuned in to sports. If you haven't been to UC, the high school is on the eastern side of town off of Miles Avenue on High School Drive. The majority of the dining and lodging is on the western side and most of that is on Reelfoot Avenue.

The best way to get to Union City from Nashville is take I-40 west to exit 108. Hwy 22 north will bring you to Union City. Take the Reelfoot Avenue exit. Go to the 2nd stoplight (about 2 miles) and turn right on Mile Avenue. School is 2 blocks on left. One note of caution: When you first get off of I-40, watch your speed until you get through the town of Clarksburg. It's a speed trap.

Tornadotouch shows last year's field. This year it's darker and the endzones look better.

That field looks like a golf course green, albeit it purple. NC fans please tread lightly on the turf when storming the field for the post game celebration! #WEBELIEVENC

There is no reason to storm the field if we are victorious. We have been to the semis three years in a row. We expect our team to compete, and act like we've been there before.

Anyone able to post some stuff from today's Daily Messenger?  Looks like some interesting articles, but it's presented very strangely on the web.  Can't really read it unless you subscribe.

Someone mentioned that a few of our seniors are talked about in the "By The Numbers" article on page 16  ;)
