Coach had a great game plan and the girls executed and played hard. That Greenfiekd loss may have lit a fire in them.

The Gibson score surprises me... Gibson was without a starter and coming off of a loss. Nice statemrnt game by Gibson!

The big girl for GC had 10 or so and Smithson had 10 or so. Smithson also set a pick on Raven in the 4th quarter at mid court that ended Raven's night. Was a legal pick but looked like a shot you would see in football. Kid is tough. #12 for GC came in and give some nice minutes on defense and the boards. Big win for GC.

Greenfield beat Peabody by one point....

Great game by both teams. Looked like a district championship game. Very intense. Back and forth all night. Peabody had a chance to tie or win with no time on clock but kid missed both fths. Peabody is for real and playing well, I expect a win for this group at UC Friday.

Peabody is much improved no doubt. Idk about calling them for real yet. They have come close to some big wins but have yet to win one. They have three more chances before tourney. Expecting a win at Union city is a lot. Not saying they won't or can't win it. But union city won't just lay over and they did win at Peabody. Look forward the season finale between GC and Peabody. Hopefully our girls will carry momentum from last night into tourney.

If GC can get 8-10 points a game like last night from Roach and or White and Smithson they will be hard to handle down the stretch. Fields and Lannom are going to get theirs for the most part. Trenton game won't be easy, but I think GC will take care of business.

I agree. When they get scoring out of Smithson and one more White/Roach they are gonna be hard to beat.

GC is building a little depth. If GC can get at least a few minutes a game from Hayes and number 12, the better they will be. The subs more than held their own on the defensive side last night as well as on the boards. I think Wilkins needs to use them on occasion to keep his starters strong.

I agree. They still struggle offensively. But they are beginning to hold their own on defense.
