Oak Ridge 2015

From the "where are they now"  column.  Last year's left tackle #56 Zach Kassner has been moved to center at Carson Newman.  He is currently running 2nd team center and could see some action this season.  He's a good kid and it meant the world to him to be an Oak Ridge Wildcat. 

 

No he is not my son.  He's my neighbor.

A few things for today's scrimmage. Kyndall Clark moved to Manookian's ILB spot and Caleb Jackson to Kyndall's OLB. Caleb also gets the start at RB. He only started playing RB when Nickerson got hurt. Offensive coaches have said aloud that there is a lot of this offense that will NOT be shown tonight.

That makes perfect sense to froshpop (not showing things in a scrimmage). I hope Manookian gets well soon. I'll be there for both scrimmages tonight. My son will play at 6:00 and my wife will pick him up at the school when they return. Then I will watch the varsity scrimmage. Can't wait for both!

Froshpop doesn't have his hopes up for a major line improvement because I read on other threads that Heritage beat Sevier County in a scrimmage last week pretty bad. That worries me about tonight. But I bet our freshmen win!

I'm interested to see how our cbs do against that d1 wr Oak Ridge has I forgot his name but I've heard alot of good things about him be another great test for our defense because our defense is still our weakness we have a pretty good offense but I'll find out just how good it is tonight because Oak Ridge has a great defense if we can put some points up on them I think we can score on anybodys defense.

They have 2 D1 wr... Well a D1 TE that plays receiver Darel Middleton and a true D1 wr in 4 star prospect Tee Higgins... But the oak ridge faithful have stated the lack of use of both in the past scrimmages so I doubt your corners truly get tested...

Ok Tee Higgins was the one that I was trying to think of don't know much about the other one, hopefully though they at least use them for some of the game
