Channel 8 naming the players. I think just about everyone knows by now. Please continue to remember these young men, their families, and their teammates in your prayers. These kids and community have been through a lot these last several months.

Amen to that Nole. The OR football team, community, and families and friends of all involved in both incidents have gone through a lot lately. Only the peace that passes all human understanding that comes from God will be able to heal the wounds, and some wounds will never be fully healed in this life, at least. I pray he sheds his grace and mercy upon the kids involved, as well as their family and friends.

I have Been praying non stop for these young men... This is tough to deal with... I pray all of these young men can fully recover.

As the parent of a player, I can tell you the team is blessed to have the right men on that coaching staff. On the staff you have some coaches of great spiritual strength, some that teach and mentor great character when no one else can fill that role, some that are young and just great older brothers to the kids and a head coach that truly shows great caring for each player. It will take all of that to hold this together.

 

This team is a family. They are tight. They'll be OK.

I agree, they will be okay. They truly are a family and will pull together for their teammates. The community is behind these guys. Keep praying.

I agree with you Nole. The coaches are the right ones for this team. I understand they practiced yesterday but Gaddis was at the hospital. I hear he's been there almost constantly. I wonder when the next practice is and if he will be at practice. I hope he is at practice because that will mean he's comfortable enough to leave the hospital.

These are children...like mine and yours. Keep praying for their physical healing. Don't forget to pray for their emotional healing, especially the driver.

If anyone could use some good news......looks like the Cats will get a good junior skill position player transferring in. Very close to a done deal.
