Who will be Warren County's next Head Coach?

No my head is not stuck up someone's rear end. I don't need to kiss up for my son to play. My son's talent speaks for itself. And yes if you were at the banquet today you would have seen that for yourself. Several of the boys are hoping Cotten will be the next head coach. Next time think before you type cuz you do not know me.

Respects him the most huh? Apparently your head must be stuck in the sand or up someone's rear end.

I do think before I type. Sure the kids want him to be their next coach. He is kid-like himself. Do you really think kids want a strong leader? No. They want a leader that will let them slide, miss practices and still get game time. Not that it will matter now that the Super 32 is happening next year. WC will loose. Even if your kid is Mr. Football.

He was DC on this past years Pioneer team and coached linebackers for Johnson

Seems like the obvious candidate then.   It's not likely a coach with a reputable record will put in for this job.   Running that Rutherford County gauntlet isn't exactly appealing to the eye especially considering the Warren County track record against much easier competition over the past 20 years.

has Warren Co ever done the obvious??

I believe they have occasionally done the obviously stupid.  I don't know how serious they are about hiring Madewell and I don't have a problem with it.  I don't think any quality coach will touch this job.  My question is can you really believe you are moving forward, if you go backward to hire a coach.  This has already been done once.  How did it work out for the ladies basketball program when Coach Ann Jacobs Eades had two separate tenures?

I'm sure it will be different this time around. Madewell was seen at Books a Million in the how to coach section.

    • Why? Low pay. Low budget thanks to the Rotary milking the programs revenue. Foul smell. There are other negative things... Positives: the players and being toward the top of the classification numbers wise.
    • What we have here is an influx of outsiders raining down on the town of Maryville like a swarm of locust trying to change our culture into the same crap they moved away from. I have no issues with anyone coming here but don't bring your politics with you. Most people around here never pay attention to the elections and keep letting the same ole rats and vermin right back in the back door and wonder why things are like they are. The problem at Maryville High is mainly due to letting outsiders get a foothold on control and shove their agenda down everyone's throat. Anyone that leaves there or let's say ranoff are replaced with an outsider with the same mindset. Eventually Maryville High will never be the same as it once was which I'm beginning to believe already but it's only chance of survival are to recruit people that will get in there and reverse the damage that has already happened.
