Verb58
The score was 26-7. A H'boro player recovered a loose ball but was removed to the hospital on a backboard. Both coaches agreed to end the game. That was a LaVergne player. He was the 2nd player taken off.
mondo44
Very quiet at Hville as a Shelbyville player is down. They have brought out the board and are tending to him now. Hope everything is ok. Talked to our trainer after the game, says the young man was ok, just taken off for precautionary reasons. #76 Zach Burns Hville wins the game 43-20, details shortly. Great to hear he is well. Glad there were no other big injuries in the game. Thought it might get outta hand the officials lost control. Thankfully with a coach like Hatfield, he never lets his group lose mental focus. Going to be a hulluva matchup next week. Indy and Hville always have great football games when they meet in the postseason.
mondo44
Balanced attack for Hville as 5 different backs go over 40 yds led by Mike Harris with 11 carries, 93 yds and 2 Tds. Soph QB Brett Coker went 6 for 6 passing for 108 yds and a gorgeous 18 yd TD strike to SR Jack Towe. Back to work Monday to prep for the #1 ranked Independence Eagles. GWAVE1
Beech and Hillsboro will be a good matchup again. Toss up
tandem
Beech and Hillsboro will be a good matchup again. Toss up The outcome of this one all depends on Roderick Napper's status. He left the game in Fayetteville in the first half with an ankle. Tried to go back in one play in the second half and couldn't go. Austin VanZant was out of the game with a concussion. Fortunately, 3rd string RB Alex VanZant stepped up huge for the Bucs.
