Is there somewhere we all can see the overall numbers for Taylor and Barger? I think it would be a little easier for all to pass judgement if we had the numbers and not someone just posting that they have bad percentages.

Barger scores 24 total points last year, and gives up 436. Ouch.

Let me get this straight...You have only 5 people even apply and none would be an improvement over the Bryant's but they wouldn't accept phone calls from a quality offensive coordinator at high end school or a guy with 230+wins and 70 losses as a head coach? That is laughable! I heard that place was backwards but I didn't know they were #### backwards!lol

Jacketbacker might want to look at Coach Barger's record against Grundy while he was the head coach at Sequatchie. Also head to head vs. Bryant. He took Sequatchie over when they were in shambles 1-19 the two years before he arrived and got them back to relevance and a share of the region title as well. Would they hire a middle school coach with no high school coaching experience over a proven head coach or guy like Scooby who have years of high school coaching experience? Just wondering.

I think he has high school experience and didnt mean to offend you. Dont know his record vs Grundy, just checked his record past 3 seasons. Im not saying he is bad coach, I just stated a fact, not an opinion.

You boys still arguing in here. Did I read on here that only 4-5 applied for the job? I guess they are guarded after the way they were on Coach Bryant. I have noticed that The Beaver disappeared once his mission was accomplished of bashing Coach Bryant.

Barger would be an upgrade. He made seq respectable again after being a laughing stock for the previous year before he got there. Seemed to level off but was still winning when they ran him off. He would run a physical offense that Grundy should run with their personnel.

BRYANT TOOK OVER A POWERHOUSE THAT WON 8 GAMES IN 4 YEARS BEFORE HIM AND HE (BRYANT) ONLY WON 31 IN 6 YEARS.120 IN THE LAST 25 SEASONS FOR GRUNDY.LOOKS LIKE BRYANT WAS NOT THAT BAD AFTER ALL.(COLQUETTE I DO BELIEVE WAS 26-14....

Didn't say Bryant was bad just stated the fact that Barger record against Grundy and Bryant was pretty good. Some people wanted to bring up records facts etc. He inherited a dumpster fire in cuholla creek. There was a reason Vic backed out.
