Oakland Foootball Opening

Yeah I just talked to my Oxford guy again and probably not cutcliffe. He is wanting to move up and has ties to our area but too soon. My guy said probably someone looking to double dip.

 

So your suggesting someone who has retired or is about to? If that's the case, this job will open again in 3 or 4 years more than likely.

I believe Creasy will be a finalist. As others have said, he will adapt his offense to match his personnel. He won his first championship as an assistant coach running the spread. The last few he's won as the head man has been with a hybrid wing T. He hasn't had the same caliber of quarterback as a head coach in TC that he had as an assistant coach here. Now...make no mistake about it, defense is his forte.

 

I don't think he wouldn't have a problem leaving. He and his wife still have a house in the boro from his year at Riverdale. I think he would welcome the challenge.

 

One thing is for sure....Oakland could do a lot worse than Creasy.

Creasy will do great at Oakland. Who will Trousdale get now to replace him? Who does Creasy bring with him or hire to come with him to Oakland?
