If Pickett county can shoot 40 % or better they will win by double digits. They are deep enough on the bench they shouldn't be a foul trouble issue and they will run the ball and not let up

 

Well Pickett County shot 50% from the field and hit 10 3 pt shots.  From what the radio announcers said Pickett County couldn't have played any better. Congratulations to the Middleton girls.

 

I still say this is Middleton's year.

They might...they should be in the finals now. I think Clarkrange might give them some problems. I'm thinking it's gonna be a Middleton vs Clarkrange finals now.

Haven't seen Middleton play since losing Faulkner. They have her and I agree, they would be hands down best team in 1A. Pickett will have a great shot next yr.

Give it up already! Can the girls not enjoy their win? You guys are running it in the ground about Deja. Always bad when a player's season/career is cut short but alot of teams are facing adversity & you got to play the hand your delt.

I'm sure she is a good player and you could be right.  I said all last year had we not lost our starting point guard we would have won #9.  It took a shot from 65' for Pickett to beat us this year so strange things happen.  I don't believe Middleton matches up well against Houston Co. or Clarkrange but one thing is for sure they are one step closer to finding out!
