What Falcons u talking about ... Farragut didnt want to play Fulton anymore .. LOL 

 

We wanted wins over teams in 5A which help our playoff resume.

Serious question. It sounds as if Farragut should get back to winning more than losing over the next couple of years. Is CEC in any sort of trouble if the Ad's don't live up to expectations?

I wouldn't think so,  he can win 5-7 per year and coach there until he decides he's had enough.  Been going on for years.  Now if it were baseball or soccer that would be another story.  Just my opinion.

Exactly right. For whatever reason (which I think is crazy being it's the #1 sport for revenue) Farragut just doesn't put much emphasis on their football program. I have gone to games there between OR and them and we bring more fans to their home games then they do. Most of the time they don't even come remotely close to packing the home side. Courtney has had a few good teams the past few years, but with the talent that Farragut has had throughout the years he should've done better in my opinion. Football just isn't a top priority there for whatever reason.

I remember Maryville scrimmaging Farragut before the season started in 2008. What was funny is the football field looked terrible. Like a cow pasture. This was right before football season. Going back to my vehicle after the scrimmage I walked by the Baseball Field. The Baseball Field looked better than some College and Pro Fields.

Yep. That's a perfect example. Bet the Soccer Field looked spectacular, too.

Farragut beat Maryville Freshmen in 2012. Maryville Freshmen were undefeated going into that game. Farraguts only loss was to Alcoa freshmen. I remember sitting next to a former coworker who had a son on that freshmen team. Son is still on team and will be a senior. Former Co worker told me I was bad luck because that was the only freshmen game I went to that year.

Nope. Nothing special. Oak Ridge's is much better. But, the baseball field - first class.

Sorry, but I have never come away impressed with their football stadium. Although I'm sure a lot of people aren't impressed with ours right now either.

I like Farragut's stadium. It may not be the fanciest but I really like how everything is set up
