What is this 2 hand touch on QB's? Did they do that when you played back in the day? Them boys need to get hit to!

Heck no lol it was open season on the quarterbacks. Only way u can tell is get hit around a few times. I can see if they are passing but if they roll and try to run thry sld be able to be hit. He said he was ready for a little contact. Sld be good scrimmage but Dnt think dunlap will challenge them much

2 hand touch is fine with me. Don't want either one of them getting hurt.

, the key is staying healthy. One or two injuries in the wrong spot and this team goes from good to average fast in this new district.

I agree with the injury situation but do think alittle contact wldnt be so bad. In a small School a injury to key player or players is a huge deal. Watched the Tyner and south pitt game. Tyner looked very fast and physical

They did pretty well in the 90's and I doubt they ever played 2 hand touch. I may be old school but QB's are "football" players too!

I think there is a fine line between letting them pop around and limiting contact.

 

On one hand you want the kids to get as much experience in game time situations as possible, but losing a key player especially a QB in a preseason scrimmage would be a disaster.

 

I've seen a player tear an acl just stretching so you never know what could happen.
