1A State Champion Poll

I think the west have the top 5 or 6 teams in 1A this yr. Here is the order I have teams going into the season..

 

1. Nashville Christian

2. Peabody

3. Union City

4. Wayne Co.

5. Huntingdon

6. Columbia Academy

7. Dresden

8. Trousdale Co.

9. South Pittsburg

10. Coalfield

Good list! Oneida will probably fit in there somewhere.

Peabody has to be favored heavily after last year unless UC takes them out don't think Nashville has a chance vs their speed

I believe that Huntingdon and Dresden will open some eyes this year. Trenton and UC will truly be a monster. I just can't fall into the hype of NCS. They have great seasons, then come west in the playoffs and get stomped. Everyone better hide your kids next year when Huntingdon rolls in.

Union City and Trenton are the defending state champs and have a good chance of meeting up in the semis....hoping my Mustangs play Nashville Christian in the quarters....I'm sure Wayne Co and Dresden and a few others will have a say so

Region 6 plays Region 5 ---- # 1 vs # 4 --- # 2 vs # 3

 

I'm fairly sure that's the way it was done under the old 5 class system but I haven't seen a bracket

Yes if both 1 and 2 seeds from each region win then yes in that scenario--or you could be playing 3 or 4 from your own region if they take out the 1 or 2 from the opposing region.1 or 2 from same region wouldnt meet till quarters if they continue to win.Hope that makes sence.

1 Vs 4

2 vs. 3

3 Vs. 2

4 Vs 1

If the ones and 2 both win then 1 of region 5 vs 2 of region 6 and so on.Thats the way i have been told.Someone can correct if it is not.
