Fulton has no chance, maryville is too deep, to well coached and too experienced. Fulton has been trying to get this game for 4 years. Gq is a great head coach and great ad as well. Any of the last 3 Fulton teams would havepossibly stole a game or 2 if played. This years team is in rebuilding mode and doesn't have the horses to hang with maryville for 4 quarters. Their only qb is a freshman and is hurt. It's great these two teams will finally play but when the Fulton ad/basketball coach is open about how hard he's tried to schedule this game the last 3-4 years while maryville was in the paper complaining about how hard it is to find opponents to schedule it makes you think.. Gq wins on the field and in the ad office. He knew Fulton would be rebuilding the next couple years with a really young team and that's when he agrees to play the home and home and they'll probably drum Fulton back to back years. Not saying gq was scared to play Fulton the last 3 years but it would've been a dog fight the last 3 years. This years game will be a boring blowout and it doesn't do this game justice. 3 years too late.

Barney - you are obviously close to the Maryville program and you probably know a lot about Fulton as well. So here goes... is this game going to be close enough to make it worth the drive from the Tri-cities? Regretting we did not go to Fulton/Mowest and I don't want to regret missing the Fulton/Murvil game either. But if you feel it won't be that close then I'm not coming down, otherwise I would really love to see this game. Yeah I know I'm putting you on the spot as a Maryville fan, just trying to figure out if I want to drive 100 miles......

Mr. Todd Howell has moved the rain chance to 60% for Saturday now and the game will not be close. Over by halftime. Just hope it doesn't rain hard enough to knock out my satellite signal. What's the radio channel just in case?

Jdh.....LOL I am calling you out for that bunch of nonsense. You are either trolling or just a liar. Either way you do not know what you are talking about.

Just announced on 94.3 sports talk decision will be made at game time for Fulton quarterback that was injured,,,,also said doesn't look good for a team to barely beat Mo west to be coming to Maryville. ....

Maybe they can take him to that Miyagi guy and he can rub his hands together real fast and heal him up....

....then there is always Benny Hinn......

I agree.  I would have loved to see this game played when Fulton had Hawkins, Rollins, Smith, etc.  Fulton would have given Maryville all they wanted for sure.  But now, Maryville is arguably better than they were, and Fulton is definitely worse than they were.  Maryville should win convincingly.
